#3: A Secret of an Uncle

Well, to begin with, it's actually not that 'secret', just a story that I choose not to tell it to my sister...

For the last 9 months I have titled as an Uncle since my sister gave birth to a beautifully handsome baby. Let's call the baby 'JAH'. I'm so excited (you know) that I finally become someone considered old and wise after 22 years living as naughty-yet-awesome youngster in the family.

Back to the story, I came home for my semester break last month and my sister and his playful baby was there. As a new exuberant-young uncle I found Jah as my new experiment model for my awful photography project .

Jah is extremely active and playful and full of energy doing I-think-I-never-done-that-when-I-was-his-age-things which can make my calm sister going crazy for 7 days and nights (I always tell her to blame the father who bring that gene). Ah... lately he got his first two teeth which makes him loves to grab anything and bite them, anything from my nicely done nails to my elephant ears...

One sunny day, my sister asked me to look after his little angelic baby boy so she could take a nap after a busy night of preparing and feeding him a 3 course supper and giving him Balinese-style-baby-massage (I don't even know whether it exists) , not to forget changing his diaper full of angelic waste with heavenly smell perfume. As a dedicated uncle-not-so-long-legs I agreed to help her, with a planning of doing  I-even-can't-tell-you-it's-a-photography project (please don't ask me what this means).

So I grabbed my 60D, and put him on the terrace so he can play with the grass. "Shit! My lens looked so dirty as dirty as my language (sorry!)". So I went to my room to grab the wiper and leave Jah alone. When I came back and was exited to start the session, I found him chewing something. Hmm,  I don't thing he got any food on his hand before I left him? I don't want to push my not-so-smart-and-fast brain to its limit. So, just forget it!

Just before I took Jah's first picture, Jah, in a very-high-speed moved his hand  and grabbed some grass and.....ate it. As I told you that my brain's speed is a bit intolerably low since I was born, I just look at him, before 5 seconds later... "Oh no! What the hell is he doing?!" I inserted my finger to his mouth to get the grass out his mouth. After my finger also got chewed by him, I manage to take only a small of remaining grass out of his mouth. "Boy, no wonder you love grass because you were born in the year of horse !!! (Chinese Calendar)."

Well, I don't think I will tell my sister about this. Like justin Timberlake said, "SOMETHINGS ARE BETTER LEFT UNSAID"

#2 It's Chinese New Year !!!

Hi!
Once upon a time, I went around Kuala Lumpur just to refresh my mind after a tiring week doing internship. This semester break I do internship instead of going back to Indonesia since Malaysian immigration loves me so much and 'force' me to stay here.
After wandering around KL that obviously crowded during weekend, I ended up sucking my lollipop at Pavilion mall while watching Prada men and Louis Vuitton girls walking down the 'runway'. I chose to stop drowning myself from imagining- when will I have those Prada bags- and going to the center of the mall and... wow! It's Chinese new year!

I'm really jealous of those kids who happily riding  merry-go-round, because in my entire childhood I only experienced it once (in Indonesia)  and ended up throwing up my breakfast. Years later I realize that I suffer from vertigo.. *crying*

After going around the mall, I realized that I still have another two lollipops in my green Diesel backpack. So, I decided to count how many whores *I mean horses* there while enjoying my blueberry lollipops.

FYI

"Chinese New Year is an important traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the first day of the year of the Chinese calendar. In China, it is also known as the Spring Festival, the literal translation of the modern Chinese name. Chinese New Year celebrations traditionally run from Chinese New Year's Eve, the last day of the last month of the Chinese calendar, to the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first month, making the festival the longest in the Chinese calendar. Because the Chinese calendar is lunisolar, the Chinese New Year is often referred to as the "Lunar New Year"." (wikipedia)

#1 BERUBAH (lagi)
